The patrons of our congregation and its models of holiness and apostolic life are: The Blessed Virgin Mary, the congregation’s mother and protector, who responded to the call of God the Father with a spotless life and unconditional surrender. Saint Francis of Assisi, the congregation’s primary heavenly patron, who made Gospel the rule of his life; embraced poverty; lived an evangelical life; preached to everyone about the love of God and entrusted himself totally to God’s providence. Following his example the congregation has adopted the Franciscan Spirituality.
Saint Joseph, who lived humbly and worked assiduously. Saint Thomas, the Apostle of India, who courageously proclaim Word of God. Saint Paul, the great missionary, who laid his total life for proclaim Word of God. Mar Baselios and Mar Ephrem, Fathers of the Eastern Church, whose and life and writings enrich the Church. Saint Therese of Lisieux, and Saint Francis Xavier, patrons of missions who saved thousands of souls for Jesus in cloistered life and active life respectively. Saint Alphonsa, the first saint of India, who made her life as a sacrifice of love, through all her sufferings out of love of Jesus.
